Our Specializations:

  • Deep Veins Care: The deep veins are essential for returning blood from the lower extremities to the heart. Our clinic specializes in diagnosing and treating conditions affecting the deep veins, ensuring they remain healthy and functional within the circulatory system.

  • Management of Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT): Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a condition where blood clots form in the deep veins, potentially causing serious complications. A blood clot can obstruct blood flow, leading to swelling and pain. Our expert team is skilled in the latest diagnostic techniques and treatments to manage DVT effectively, reducing the risk of further health issues.

  • Prevention and Treatment for Valves in the Veins: The valves in the veins are crucial for preventing blood from flowing backward. When these valves malfunction, it can lead to venous insufficiency and other problems. We offer comprehensive care to diagnose and treat valve-related issues, ensuring your veins function optimally to return blood to the heart.

  • Chronic Venous Insufficiency: Chronic venous insufficiency occurs when the vein walls or valves in the veins are not working effectively, making it difficult for veins to return blood to the heart. This can result in blood pooling in the legs, causing swelling and discomfort. Our specialized treatments focus on improving vein function and relieving symptoms.

  • Expert Care: Our team consists of highly trained specialists with extensive experience in managing venous health conditions within the circulatory system.

Understanding Vein Health:

  • Surface of the Skin: Varicose veins are enlarged veins that often appear on the surface of the skin. They are usually blue or dark purple and may be lumpy or twisted. At Ontario Vascular, we provide treatments to reduce the appearance and discomfort of varicose veins.

  • Vein Wall Health: The strength and elasticity of the vein wall are essential for maintaining proper blood flow. Weak or damaged vein walls can lead to various venous disorders, including chronic venous insufficiency. Our treatments aim to restore vein wall integrity and improve circulation.

  • Risk Factors: Several risk factors can increase the likelihood of developing venous disorders, including age, family history, obesity, and prolonged periods of standing or sitting. Understanding these risk factors can help in the prevention and management of venous conditions.
